Here’s a thought for today: Back during the time when Christ walked the earth, the fisherman in the area typically fished in shallow water – and generally during the night. However, we are told that in one instance they fished all night and didn’t catch a thing. Jesus tells them to lay down their nets in deep water for a catch. Simon Peter, though seemingly hesitant, obeys to the unusual command Jesus gives him. Not only was the catch large but it was ripping their nets and sinking their boats.

Lesson: Trust!! Allow the abundance of Christ to fill your heart and mind. When acting in obedience your nets will never be empty.
