Even the biggest messes can turn into the biggest blessings. It might not seem like it to you at the time, but I’ve lived long enough now that I can wholeheartedly agree with that statement. Oh, I still cry and wonder “why?” through heartache, disappointment and things that I don’t understand. But having accepted Christ, I can now rest in a peace that is nearly impossible to describe to someone who doesn’t know Him. Who doesn’t know His love.
When you see brokenness in your life remember that God’s greatest glory can be seen through your scars. Whatever the enemy intends for harm, God can pull it together into something great.
No amount of struggle can separate you from God’s love. It is through these struggles that you see just how mighty and loving He truly is.
Paul was beaten over and over again by those who had no concept of who God was. Yet he was still able to confidently pen these words: “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38, 39 NLT)
He knew just how very much God loves us…
